ABOUT SIRACO CREATIONS

The word Siraco was created by combining the words 'Siren' and 'Draco', but is pronounced Sear-ah-coh. Weird, right?

Siraco Creations is a small business that is currently operated by just one person (Ren, that's me!). I do everything from maintaining the website, creating all the products, packaging all orders, designing literally everything, and even taxes (just kidding, my partner does the taxes for me, but I do the bookkeeping!).

My current goals for Siraco Creations are pretty simple:

  1. Brainstorm a few more TTRPG 'accessory' type products (like potions or trinkets)
  2. Enjoy the creative process
  3. Slow and steady, natural growth

At the end of the day, I'd still be creating dice, painting miniatures, and making other TTRPG accessories, even if I never sell anything. This way, I can at least share my creations with others who appreciate the love and care that has gone into each one.

Q: When do you restock?

Currently, I add items to the shop as they become available. This is to allow me the best flexibility, while keeping the shop stocked.

Q: Do you ship internationally?

Yes! Each country has to be set up individually, so just contact me and I'll get that set up for you. Please be aware that any sales tax, VAT, and Customs fees are not included in shipping prices, and are the responsibility of the buyer.

Q: Are your dice balanced?

Yes, they are. It is more difficult to make weighted dice than random rolling dice. All of my dice are made using a pressure pot, which means any major air bubbles that would affect your rolls, have been removed. Any inclusions that are added to the dice are also not heavy enough that they would impact roll outcomes.

Q: What are common handmade 'flaws' that may be present on dice & minis?

I do my absolute best to make sure that all my dice and miniatures are as free of flaws as I can possibly make. If I feel that there is anything that will interfere with the function of the dice or quality of the miniatures, I will mention it in the individual listings.

Potential cosmetics flaws may include:

  • Mold marks on the face of a die
  • Small micro scratches
  • Tiny micro bubbles
  • A missed paint spot on a mini
  • A mark from 3D printed supports on a mini that was missed when sanding

Q: Can I return or exchange a product?

Due to the nature of handmade products, I cannot accept exchanges or returns. If you receive your item and there is damage or other issues, please contact me and I will assist you the best that I can. I also do not offer refunds as much of the price of my products covers the time I spent working on them.

Q: How do commissions work?

Check out my commission page to get more information on commissions. Essentially, you'll head over to my commission page and decide what you would like from me. Once you have an idea of what you want, go ahead and use the form at the bottom of the commission page and fill out the information. The more detail you can provide me, the better. I will discuss the commission with you before giving you a quote, and we'll go from there!

Q: How do Made to Order dice work?

These are sort of like 'mini commissions' where you have some extra options and control on how the dice turn out. On some of the Made to Order (MTO) sets, you can even choose which colors I use. You are essentially paying for the technique of that specific set, with minimal customization. As these are not actually commissions, the commission process does not extend to the Made to Order dice. Popular sets and techniques I enjoy doing can qualify to become MTO!

Q: Can you guarantee delivery by a certain date?

Unfortunately, I cannot guarantee any delivery date. Life with a kiddo can mean that production gets shut down if they are sick or just needs some extra cuddles. My kiddo will always comes first. I do my best to get Made to Order dice and commissions out in a timely manner, and keep you updated on any delays that may occur. Thank you for your understanding.

Q: Why are your miniatures/dice so expensive?

There are several factors that go into pricing my miniatures and dice. The main factor is that I am the ONLY person working on them. When it comes to dice, I am the designer, molder, castor, and finisher; meaning, every part of the dice making process is solely on me. Yes, I have some STLs from another dice master maker, but I still print those and prep the masters myself. Then I mold them and cast them. Each dice created is then polished and finished by me. For my miniatures, it's much the same. While I don't design miniatures, I am also the one that puts hours into painting them. I have a combined experience of 10+ years with traditional painting and working with resin which adds to the quality of my products. I do not negotiate prices as I know the worth of my art.
