Copperwood Whispers Dragon Skin - Sir Chonk Solo D20

Copperwood Whispers design came from having extra resin during another pour, and with the changing of seasons, I wanted to try and capture a little of that cozy Autumn feel. I colored the resin a light orange and the added red, copper, and gold metallic flakes to create the feel of falling leaves. I loved the design so much that I played with different ratios of things and managed to get a few different set designs out of it. This chonk is inked with a metallic gold ink.

I am so excited to finally release the first in my line of Chonky Dice! This is my Sir Chonk size, which is 45mm in size (that's over twice the size of a standard manufactured d20, and 15mm bigger than my standard d20s!), and using artist view numberings, you can see so much more of what is going on inside of the chonk! For this one, I decided to use the Dragon Skin technique, creating a texture on part of the insert. I also applied a chrome powder to the textured bit to give it more sparkle. After that, I just put the insert back into a mold to get the numbers.
