[MTO] Shiny Math Rocks Set

Shiny Math Rocks seemed fitting for these Geode Style dice!

Starting off with a carved out blank, I toss some glitter, colorshift pigments, and a metallic edge to these lovely sets. The base part of the set can come in a variety of colors, just like the "gemstone" centers! After these blanks are put together, I cast them again in clear resin blanks so that I am able to put the "gemstone" part of the blank on the high number face (or at least, I do my best to do this). After they get their numbers added, using clear resin, I use a Peekaboo polishing method; meaning, I only polish the high number face (or the "gemstone" area if the geode blank gets turned) and leave the rest of the set matte. This creates a wonderful contrast between the sparkley centers and "stone" base. Finishing it all up, I ink the high number to match the metallic edge, and ink the rest of the numbers in a matte color that matches the set.

These are one of my favorite style of dice to make, but they are quite the labor of love. If you want to bring a 'WOW' factor to your table, I highly suggest picking up a set of Shiny Math Rocks.
